Beautiful, and I always love to see the less-common combinations.
Not that I don't love gold-on-black, that's what my WFL Deems/Swingster is, and what I'm going to paint my no-name Taiwan kit, but it's nice to see something different.

i once picked up a 60's Ludwig kit and the seller was super happy to show me his paint job that consisted of red and white stripes inside and out of each drum including the snare. He wasn't happy when i asked him as to why he took the time to ruin a nice drum. He responded that glitter wasn't for him....Ouch!!
I took a different route to own a Duco set. The wrap on a Walberg & Auge set that I owned was in sad condition. I knew that I was not going to sell this great sounding drum set. So, I had Bum Wraps copy the colors of a picture I sent them of a green/silver/green Duco-painted drum from the 1950s. They sent me the pieces cut to size for my 20x14, 16x16, and 8x12 drums The Rogers hardware on these drums looks good with the new simulated Duco finish.

I traded a wmp Rogers to this guy who said he didn't really like the wrap and was going to paint the kit, he only wanted them because it had a 24" kick. I made him promise me that if we did the trade he would leave them as they are. He agreed and we did the deal. He then asked if I would buy them back for $500, unfortunately I didn't have the cash at the time. When I was able to afford to buy them back, they had already been sold.
Posted before but always love to add to the Duco family.
