Of all the kits I have looked at on the forum, butcher block is probably the LEAST attractive wrap I have seen to date. Drums are supposed to be flashy and if not flashy at least shiny for Pete's sake!! That should be an automatic price reduction in itself!!

I totally agree. I really would like to know what Ludwig was thinking when they came up with that idea.
