This forum has got to be the best forum for vintage drums & drummers. I am putting together a 60s Gretsch 20,12,12,14 kit for my Grandson that I gave $150.00 dollars for. The 14" floor tom is not a Gretsch but I,am looking.

I needed various parts for this players kit and various members came thru with them. Now KCDrumDad located the last 12" 5 hole hoop I needed . I have it in my hands today and will began the restoration first of the year. I have to hurry as my grandson is into his rudiments and doing well.

So thanks again KCDrumDad for finding this hoop and to all others for their help. Tom

I agree with you Tom...the guys here are the best!! There is always someone who will help you out if you need it. Thats why I always try to help someone out if I know the answer to their problem.

Good luck with the Gretsch set. I've been playing Gretsch drums for 36 years and they are excellent drums.
