A friend brought this along with another drum I wanted from him. Some sort of MIJ. I thought the lugs and the design on the legs were distinctive. Does anybody know what it is?

I believe what you've got there is a MIC (made in china) I've seen those lugs on late model Chinese drums. What color is the wood?

The wood is light tan with a light grain.

The green spot used to be a spider.

Surely used on several models - modern - Asia - indeed this was the hardware/parts on an early Sound Percussion kit that I restored. Typically 5 lugs toms.

I had a great day! Instead of sleeping in and wasting the day, I got up at 8 and I had all my slacking done by noon!

It IS 5 lugs! I hadn't noticed that.

So it's Sound Percussion, CB or something of that ilk.

If I put the head on the bottom I could use it for a wastebasket.

thanks
