Thinking of selling my two Slingerland Kits. Last viewed: 3 days ago

Almost 200 views and no questions.

Are they the wrong price, wrong color, wrong year, wrong configuration?

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

True, that's where I believe I had this and it looked like someone moved it, But good advice!

I only write this because you asked. I think your prices are high for mixed orphan she'll kits. I had a couple Slingerland kits one with a matching snare and I sold both of them for $400-450. One was a 50's with two holes plugged and patched but very nice otherwise. It sat a long time before I got $400 for it. The other was a 60's with the matching (8 lug) snare and I got $450 for it. The bass had just a bit of rash on it. Slingerland has to be a special wrap or something to get that higher dollar. They sound amazing and I bet your kits sound amazing. It's just a rough time to sell I think. You're probably better off selling them individually. I can understand why you would rather not though.

This is just my two cents and I would never write this if you hadn't asked. Good luck on selling these.

Hi Curtis,

Thats great advice and I appreciate it.

I've listed them in the SALE section and I'm open to offers. I know the 18" floor tom is hard to find but you may be right on the price (I paid $425 from a forum member for this one drum).

I'd hate to sell these individually because I took so much care in getting the right drums, BUT you may be right there as well.

I may sell them separately, gotta think about it.

I APPRECIATE the feedback!

Thanks

Yes, you had it in the FOR SALE section originally, but it wasn't quite FOR SALE yet. You were thinking about it, and discussing the options. You had no pics and no price. THAT is why I moved it! Once you are all set with pics and a price, it can go into the FOR SALE section! Otherwise it wasn't really for sale, was it? Glad you all set now though. Good luck on your sale!
