Here`s a kit thought by many includeing myself that ...Don`t exist... !! It`s over on another site, gonna keep it here as confirmation pics. !!

It`s an early Sonor Stainless Champion series with pre-Centennial badge and the drumshop tag !! The current Sonor Administration knows nothing about it !! But, there it is and I see all factory !!

It`s a drum,.....Hit It !!

It's a Photoshopped MIJ kit meant to confuse and confound us. Arrest the heretic! Throw him in the iron room of keyboards and zithers until he repents and admits his foul attempt at deception. Oh, the humanity.

Cool kit!

Sorry, but I can't confirm what RogerSling states. I've taken part at the discussion at the other forum (it's over here in Germany, btw) and the predominant opinion is, that it is some kind of a prototype from Sonor. The pics were also sent to Sonor directly, and they did NOT say, that it's NOT a Sonor one. They also did NOT say that it's somehow fake.

The 'inlays' were custom made (perhaps by a previous owner), so this is a modification - but all in all the shells appear to be really a Sonor drumset.

I think Roger is being funny !!

I have no doubt this kit is Champion, I wish more pics. were out so I can see if they drew this out on the seamless machine. That would be unique !! I like the brushed look. The 2000 snare don`t belong but to the user his own !! I didn`t catch the sizes either, 8 lug bass ect. !!

Thanks Odd.

Of course I was joking. It seemed rather obvious, but I'll spell it out ...

The kit looks very sweet. I hope it's the real deal. I love these historical page turners.

With the pics. provided on the other site, I can see all around the rack tom, but cannot find a seam !! But a good shot of the inside without the coark, would seal it in stone !!

It's strange that the bearing edge is part of the shell wrap. Is the shell itself beech wood? Does the cork lining the interior seem to be factory or applied by a previous owner?

Barry,

It`s a Stainless Steel drum kit, the liner was prolly installed by the owner cuz the cut-outs are a little sloppy.

It prolly muffles the drum to their taste !!
