The lugs are made in England by a specialist machinist who also makes components for a leading UK custom company.

That's good info to know, but have you seen this lug before the "Beast" showed up?

No, it was designed specifically for The Beast.

Interesting drum. 50 ply wow. A Beast it is. Wayne post a pic of those lugs!! If they are indeed the same design it may be a throwback to the old ones?

Not yet, but I will when I eventually see one. Not my cup o tea, but then again if its not at least 30 yrs old, nothing is. Besides, this thing looks like it bites back!!

HAHA My mate Keith designed and built it and showed me the actual one just 2 weeks ago when I went up to manchester. It's quite a thing to behold. I tell you what, its super sensitive to the touch. I couldn't play it cause we were in his kitchen after a night out on the town (1 am)but just a flick of the finger and it sounded tasty. It looks great too. okay its not built to look good behind a club date, but thats just not the idea. He was dared to make a drum that kicks ass and he did brilliantly. I want one! I'll try to get him to make me one.
