The one snare I should buy,... Last viewed: 3 hours ago

Dude, how far off your mark is it? If you set up a paypal donation link I will gladly chip in a few measly bucks to help you get that snare - that is a once-in a lifetime deal... and I would also issue a challenge to all other VDF members to do the same. Anyone else game to do a good deed? If you don't grab that snare you're gonna regret it!

Also, see if he would be willing to accept payments and not send it until it is paid in full.

I had a great day! Instead of sleeping in and wasting the day, I got up at 8 and I had all my slacking done by noon!

What a predicament!!! Your set is spectacular and so is that snare!! It would be great for them to be together.

Use your bill me later option if you have one. Then you can pay it off.

I know you can never beat an original... But have you ever thought about building a nice replica at a fraction of the cost?

Not sure if I did that right......

In this economy I don't think you'll have people lining up to spend $1,299 on a snare. No matter how valuable. Wait until the auction ends and then present an alternative offer to the seller. Perhaps 3 monthly payments of $250 or whatever into his/her Paypal account. I hope you get it. But unless you're wealthy and can afford the asking price I'd wait...

Oy ve!! I don't admire your position....well, I think I may. Your kit is yet another beauty in your collection. I would beg, borrow, barter, scheme, etc., to find a way to that snare. Open up a PayPal/ebay Credit card and prolly save a % or few. You gotta' get those pieces together, somehow.

Best of luck, Sted.

PS - Looking forward to the "Together" pics.

Yes most definitely! Especially since I have the GM paint color code numbers for all the Alice Cooper Paint finishes from the L.A. era. I would be willing to bet he would take $1000.00 Personally that snare drum is far more rare than a Roger's Maple Dynasonic and is it worth it? You betcha and will spank a Dyna in performance all day and twice on Sunday! Somebody will buy it and then your chance will be gone Stedi....

... but not at this price !!!Nonetheless, what a great addition to my Camco's this would be !http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Camco-Aristocrat-Snare-Drum-/321084061747?pt=Vintgae_Drums_Percussion&hash=item4ac219f833

They may delete this post since it will be worthless once the ebay link is no longer any good. Unless you revise it with a picture and price...As for the snare , That should be a no brainer...even at that price...
