The Elusive Star Cymbal Mount Part

Loading...

I can't believe my good fortune! Although today is Sunday ( I have a friend who works for Canada Post) I just received the rare Star cymbal arm, mount and joining "knuckle" piece! All of the items are mint! The mount itself even has the "Made in Japan' sticker intact on the inside! John Barber, drummerjohn333 was the gentleman who was gracious enough to select me from other members and send me these parts for next to nothing! I'm not sure why. I am indebted to him for more than I can say. There have been other members who have done the same thing but, they do not wish to be known. "Paying it forward" is really what it is often about on this forum. The members are simply the best anywhere! I am truly humbled by the friends I have met.

Thanks again, John!

I wish I could send some, Tinman but, I don't even own a camera. Computers and I are not compatible either. Somewhere on the VDF, there is a picture though. Such a part exists but, is very rare. I don't even think that Mikey has one.

Super smooth dealing with salty (Brian). I am out of these now but am working on scoring more from my private confidential source.

I had a great day! Instead of sleeping in and wasting the day, I got up at 8 and I had all my slacking done by noon!

Thanks, my friend. My sister who sent you the pictures of my Star kit is in Florida now. Just before she and her husband get back, I'm off to Mexico ( my adopted homeland) until February. I'll be great to escape this bloody horrible Canadian climate for awhile. When we return, I'll contact you, Ralf. Thanks again, sir!
