Tension Rods

Hi Everyone

My tension rods become loose quite often and not necessarily the same one, I play a lot of shuffles and crack the back beat pretty hard (could that be the cause ?) is there anything I can do, maybe different washers ?

Has anyone else had this problem and found a solution ? It's happened on both my wood shell and cob.

Try switching the steel washers out for nylon...If that doesn`t work, tension rod locks should do the trick...They prevent the rods from backing off...
