Yes, Tempo is a 60s to early 70s "stencil" kit built by Pearl for a US distributor. These are cool old kits and if you can get it cheap and it is in good condition, go for it! They make great gigging kits. After you pick it up, let me know and I can help you get it to a really groovy sound.

Without pix and knowing exactly what is included, it is hard to say. If you are getting all original stands, some cymbals, you know, up to 300, but that is top dollar. Not knowing many of the finesse questions makes it hard to value them. Just the shells? 75-100. But typically these range 200ish with a load of hardware and goodies. Just too many unknowns.

Got pix of the whole set up? Everything included?

My very first kit was a red sparkle Tempo. I bought it in 1981. I loved that kit. I think I have pics of it somewhere. I had 2 12 inch toms, a 16 floor tom and 20 inch bass drum. My snare was what I spent most of my cash on which was a Ludwig Super Sensitive. It sounded as good as any kit out there.
