Tempest & various identification help needed

Loading...

I was given a mess of drums, cymbals, hardware, etc... and I haven't the foggiest idea about them. I do know that I must have something worthwhile - as even after minimal research I knew I had someone trying to take advantage of my ignorance. Being who I am - I simply can not let these go until I have acquired enough knowledge to make it difficult to do so... yes, I acknowledge that behavior pattern but I can't help the faulty wiring and have learned to embrace it.

Since taking the photos, I have recognized the humorous follies within the photos - no need to point them out. Just bear with me and help me come to an understanding of what is what and where I may be able to find adoptive parents. Any help / conversation/ useless trivia / questions welcome.

aaaaaand.... as soon as I figure out the photos I will post them.... hoping within moments... praying I do not get sidetracked.

The MIJ (made in Japan) are a dime a dozen and you will find the exact same drum with different badging for different drum shops.

Hang on to that Duplex. It`s USA and I believe sought after.

It`s a drum,.....Hit It !!
