Tele-Star Drums

Loading...

Hello again, Members!

Today on ebay.ca, a snare and tenor tom were offered with the badge "Tele-Star". To me, because of the shape of the lugs and type of snare strainer, these drums are in all likelihood a stencil of Star. The badge has the typical Star insignia but preceded with the word, "Tele-". I don't believe that I've ever heard of these drums before. Any thoughts or enlightenment?

That was the stencil brand of my first drum set.

Got a four piece for Christmas of '71.

Yup, Star stencil. There have been a few on the bay over the past year.
