If it's an original Superstar, it would be Birch. If it's one of the "revisited" ones, ... icky.

Thats not a Superstar drum. It has the "zola-coating" inside the shell. The badge should tell you what line. If its a Swingstar which is what it looks like its probably made of Luan and then coated.

Zola coat was also used with the Imperial Star line. Badge looks good for that.

Zola coat was also used with the Imperial Star line. Badge looks good for that.

I dismissed it as Imperialstar because of the lugs and mount. Clearly Swingstar type lugs. They can be made to sound very good.
