tama superstar royalstar

Loading...

hi folks.

i'm currently watching this kit on ebay. it's listed as a tama superstar royalstar.

i think thats because it has two stickers on the top of the bass drum(see pics).

any info on it would be great. it's only £50.

it seems like a nice kit to be my first resto project.

what do you guys think?

The set is a 1980's Tama Swingstar set..Mounted oms are single headed..I would not go more than 150.00-200.00 U.S. for the set...Mikey

i was thinking £50 is a good price too bunny.

if i can get it for 50, i'm going for it. i'm really looking forward to restoring it, and then letting it go to a collector.

i'm not expecting an easy ride though. i can imagine getting the hardware etc, isn't a walk in the park.

but i can give it a go, see what happens eh!! you just never know.

i'll keep you guys posted

Besides the project emphasis,I don't think you would make a lot of profit on the kit,25.00 - 50.00 depending on replacement /resto parts cost. There just isn't a large collectors market for those, but a well built kit, great for gig, reharsal whatever.

I see them all of the time i have 7 complete stands in stock..But the shipping cost to you would cost more then the stand is worth.Iam sure you would be able to fine a stand in england for less..Also most any stands with "L" arm with balls would work...Mikey
