Tama Rockstar DX snare butt plate. Possible to find this part?

Loading...

I'm currently restoring this old Tama Rockstar DX I bought in 1992. It's coming along nicely. When came time to look at the Snare, I realized that one of the snare drum butt plates was worn out. There's no resistance when I turn the screw, therefore the snare cannot be stretched(?) properly. I included a picture of the part in question.

It would be ideal if I could find the same exact part but it's not necessary. If it's a part that works just as well then great.

I looked around but didn't find anything similar. I googled for tama Rockstar dx snare butt plates but the stuff that came up was very different. Also looked on Ebay, nothing. I'll go check my local drum stores tomorrow but I'm not expecting any miracles here for a 20 year old part.

Is it possible to find this part? Or something similar?

Just drill out the frame a little bigger and rethread the bar inside to the next size up. Or send it to me and I'll do it-

Hey thanks for the tip. Worse case scenario, I can always use another screw along with a matching bolt and it should do the trick. Thanks. :)
