Tama Imperialstar King Beat Snare Drum

Loading...

Beautiful 5x14 Tama King Beat snare with parallel strainers, ala a Dyna-Sonic. These drums are thicker than Dyna-Sonics, though, both physically and sonically. Very lively and sensitive at any volume, and of course the rim shots are legendary.

This one's way above average cosmetically for a 25-30-year-old drum with no flaking, dings, or dents. Has the original cast top and bottom rims. The only thing to note is the name of the school it used to belong to has been etched under the badge, as pic shows.

$165--shipping included. Email or pm with any questions.

No doubt this snare kicks butt. I own 4(3-5x14" 1-6x14"). Anyone looking for a sensitive and powerful snare look no further. Once you replace with original type wires this drum is the bomb. I would buy this myself but don't need it,just want it. This drum is in good condition. Most of these, if you find them are beat up or missing lots more parts. This drum is missing a few too but with a little love and time put into it this will be nice. Some parts are hard to find, don't give up.Nice drum nice price.I hope this sells quick and goes to a good home.

Wow--I believe these are what is known as uncompensated endorsements. And couldn't ask for much better ones. Thanks, and you're both right: this is a great snare. I'll try to get some video of it up in the next day or two, because it sounds at least as good as it looks.
