Tama guys - some advice please...

Or just some info would be nice. Pretty please...

I've got a Tama Swingstar 10x8" tom with SN: 83-60216. No re-rings, red badge, and looks like Zola coating inside. I'm guessing it's an 80s drum, pointy lugs and I think the 83 in the SN means 1983. Is that right? I've had a look around and I've found nothing I could call concrete, except for a comment made by a forum member (can't remember who though) who said the first two digits of the SN indicate the year of manufacture.

Can anyone enlighten me at all? Many thanks!

Oh, and yeah, I realise it also has the wrong mount on it. This was given to me as is by my nephew, who is actually a keyboard player... Looks like a Pearl mount, maybe 90s?
