Does the bidding on this seem legit? The bidders have zero feedback............and the price is outta control.

It was up to $7300 a minute ago, and I went back and the zero feedback bidder who had pushed the 6 feedback cat up to $7300 is gone, leaving the cat with 6 feedbacks with high bid at $4246 so far

Smells a tad non-legitaroma.... who knows ??

I saw that and thought perhaps it was made from the Liberty Bell......Fortunately the seller cancelled those bids but it bring the whole auction into disrepute and one has to wonder who exactly is bidding.(No offence tot he seller I'm sure he's a stand up guy)I've never had a bell brass snare and I'm sure they sound good but whoever wins this must either really want it. Even the nicest wood 6.5" Dyna covered in a rare finish wouldn't command that much.

Wow, I have a Tama Power Metal series brass picolo that's about 10 years after this Superstar bell and have never once seen it listed in eBay, but have seen some newer bell brass. Never seen a Superstar series bell listed though,

them bell brass fetch the top dollar and this one is 70's vintage too.

Anyone else have any Tama Power Metal stuff? There was a fatal flaw

in the brass ones, the shiny plating started to come off shortly after

purchase way back in '91 or so, been thinking of taking it to a metal shop

and having it stripped...

Found it!!

That may have been the reserve price. Remember the 3K OBP snare? He had to up his bid to the ultra high reserve to get to the end.
