I've had the Powertone snare drum for quite some time, having acquired it in conjunction with a Big R Londoner kit for a grand total of $200! I had been searching for a matching kit for a few years, and finally struck a deal with Ned at the Vintage Drum Center for the 13-16-20.

Stay tuned...I have another Rogers rarity in the works!

Not extremely rare,but rare enough!

If only I had known you had the Powertone, I would have saved you some money. I am looking for one in that color. Late Cleveland, very early Dayton era, Steel Gray.

My Powertone is right in there, Ploughman - Cleveland label, serial number 17XXX, elongated strainer.
