Tampa's not much better. 96F with super high humidity. There's some high pressure system over us that is making it feel like you got slapped with a hot wet towel when you step outside.

..and in the breadbasket, we are on track for our normal wheat killing summer...only it began 5 weeks early...over 100 and high humidity...makes Tampa look like a warm bath tub!

Jacksonville, Fl. 100 degrees. 100% humidity. Satan lives next door and Hades is on the corner. Luckily the old lady next door has a pool and let's my wife and I swim. This is the most brutal June I can remember and I have lived here 30 plus years.

Anyone wanna trade my Slingys for an a.c.?

Over 105 yesterday with 15% RH - it's a dry heat (just like an oven). Amazingly, after 18 years here, you get kinda' used to it. Screw humidity (did 30 years of that on LI)!

once the brass ceases to glitter, and the drum looses its luster, and the stage remains dark, all you have left is the timbre of family.
