Anyone here with a vintage Supra using Puresounds? What width did you end up using - 12 or 16? I guess I'm looking for a snappy sound and I know the 12's will have more drum. Particularly interested to hear from anyone who has found the ideal snare wire for a 60's Supra . . . thanks.

you will love them, the puresounds 12 strand are equivalent of a 16 strand stock snare wire, so if you want more horse power go for the 16 strand, you'll be happy with either, get the custom not the blasters,
