Jim, That guy is probably entertaining -many offers- for that drum. That deal is the kind of thing you have to grab immediately, before the wise-guys start swimming around like hungry sharks. If you're close by, get your butt over there and grab it!

I saw it on CL, sent a reply, then saw it here. Have not heard back yet. I imagine the seller has been schooled and the price will soar. Nobody will buy this drum for anywhere near $50.

Sounds to me like this person was just Putting it out there to see what would happen. Was smart enough to post it as a Ludwig along with no phone number. Was even RIGHT side up, badge facing. I have seen this before on other Craigslist items. Probably will see it in the near future with a larger price tag.
