supertone snare

anybody know anything about these? It appears as though they were made for sears, just picked one up on ebay for about 100, has the original calf and slunk heads so I figured it would be a good purchase.

Most likely made by Leedy or Ludwig for Sears. The shell in the auction looks like a Ludwig. I'd like to see the throw off. Could also have been made by Duplex.

Sometimes these "jobbed out" drums were made with a combination of parts from two different manufacturers. I have a Conn from that era that is a Leedy drum with a Ludwig throw off.
