What is the big difference in the model change in 1969 and the previous years?Thanks,Mike
They changed the bottom hoop to a dropped gate style hoop, and the strainers changed design at the same time. Snare wires are not interchangeable between the two designs. Basically they made the stainers easier to do quick changes of the snare wires, also they are a little easier to adjust compared to the earlier design.
