Simple solution - and will most likely be on ANY computer with Windows.

Windows has a program called Microsoft Office Picture Manager. Then you can right click on any pic file and go to the OPEN WITH and this program will be top of the list. BTW - I have Windows 7.

In that program, you can compress any photo. I use size to DOCUMENT and the result works very well with this site - as when you click to open it, it opens it up VERY LARGE so people can see it very well. Does it take time? Certainly - but the results work very well and this (program) can be found and used by many/if not all. Does it compress multiple pics at a time? No - but as I said - this may be the most universal and easiest means out there.

We can request that David and Tommy upgrade their software - sure - but that's not going to happen unless some big money donor forks out a huge donation needed to do that - or a huge campaign be involved or worst yet - they REQUIRE donation for use.

I think most would say that this site works VERY well and that we are all extremely blessed by it - just as it is.....so that users can use and contribute (content) for FREE, unless they are in a position to donate.

Thanks to David and Tommy as well as anyone who has ever donated.

I had a great day! Instead of sleeping in and wasting the day, I got up at 8 and I had all my slacking done by noon!

I dont know if this will help anyone but I use a Cannon 7.2 megapixel Cyber-shot camera. I set the thing on 3mp when I photograph stuff for this forum. It is pefect, see example pic below. I just down load it the original size pic, no re-sizing at all. And when I look at my own pics on my screen they are nice and big and clear. SO try setting the camera to 3mp. Hope this helps!

Thank you!

Very cool kit. I'm plumb outta room, though.

I use pix resizer - it's free, there are versions for any version of windoze win95 and up (no mac or linux unfortunately), you can compress single images or whole folders at a time to virtually any resolution you like.
