From my own research & mostly the help & info I have received from this website I find that 1960-63, brass shell with welded seam - not spun shell, curled bearing edge, crimped snare beds, pre serial # keystone badge makes these a Ludwig Super. This Cob snare drum with brass hoops weighs a lot also.
