Hi, Dr.,
I really enjoyed your article on Slingerland throw-offs. How about one on the many subtle differences in Radio King streamline lugs from 1935 through 1954?
Thanks,
Mark Cooper

How are you? Been a while since the DCI days, nice to hear from you.
Yes, absolutely, that one is already "in the can", along with many, many others. The online version will come soon, I wanted to put out some more on strainers first.
Thanks for the feedback. Please let me know anything else you think might be priorities to folks. I have an awful lot of material...

Hi, Carl
Good to hear from you! I have always enjoyed your writing and input on the various Forums. Perhaps in the future you might discuss:
The evolution of Radio King hoops (engraving, stamping, different bottom hoop gate types);
The different types of Slingerland tension rods, clips and claws;
Un-cataloged finishes, and other oddities.....
........And that's just off the top of my head!
Keep up the excellent work!
Mark

Thanks, and no problem - we're going to get to all of it.
Looking forward to more discussion with you, particularly in view of all the Slingerland drums you have seen in the course of your vintage business!
