Ripple makes me happy.

Cool. Can you zoom out a bit? Is that a cymbal arm attached to the tom arm? Not up on my Rogers hardware...:)

Wow! this forum has hit the bottom. Glad to have been a part of it for a few years but its becoming a little to dramatic for me, thanks for the good times!

You'll be missed. Seems a bit strange though, to ditch just as the drama-reducing rules come into effect...? Around these here parts we call that an "interesting choice" :)

Mitch, actually it is. The same clamp that would be used for a stick tray I believe. Its a neat little Swivo doo dad fits all of the 3/8" hex rod parts. I have a 9" cymbal extension with a Swivo Tilter and a 12 Splash on it.

Take away the private lives of all the members, lets think about what each member here has contributed to this forum. Forget the the drugs, the being banned from other forums, does it really matter? Were here to discuss drums, that's it. We should not care about ones private life or what happened to them in the past, it don't mean ****! What should be recognized here is the knowledge that these members share and everyone does a great job of that. Take away the drama and you have an excellent forum here. If you look at what John has done on this forum you will see that he has posted some very impressive drum restorations and has sent free gear to several members, he is a nice guy that clearly knows vintage drums, period. So I say, John, let it go, we don't need to hear any of your past. And the guys that like to bully him, knock it off, it don't mean a thing and know one cares but you.

Thank you!

Oh I'm not quitting for good, i like the new rules. Tommy and David put up a lot more than I would have. Sorry if I gave the wrong impression, which I'm good at doing.

Thank you!

I do all my ranting on Facebook...The VDF is my "happy place" where I'm free to discuss the pro's and con's of 0000 steel wool and Remo vs Evans vs Aquarian and not get made fun of. In the words of Moe, Larry and Curly...PEACE, WE WANT PEACE!

Iran, Sheran, they ran , we all ran

Something like that woob woob woob woob wise guy hey, why certainly ... That's me at least I got my drum head back and I think the forum had a lot to do with yuk yuk yuk

April 2nd 1969 scarfed pink champagne holly wood and 65/66 downbeat snare, and , supra same year very minty kit old pies
66/67 downbeat with canister
Super 400 small round knob
1967 super classic obp

once the brass ceases to glitter, and the drum looses its luster, and the stage remains dark, all you have left is the timbre of family.

Well, I enjoy this forum heaps and ain't going nowhere... But do agree we can all do without the ongoing "Soap Opera" stuff...

I can only imagine what visitors and new, or importantly, "potential new" members must think...

Cheers

John
