Looking forward to getting the new album. Best ones were always the quick records.

Jees, nearly forgot. Happy 80th B-Day Mr. Watts. !!! One h*ll of a run.

Never be as good but hope I still can pick up a pair of brushes 20 years shy of 80.

Yikes, Question Forum. What brushes used? That should cover it. :-)

Nothing special here but I like them.

You are so right, Creighton! Just yesterday I read some excellent reviews of the album! Back to basics. Mr. Jagger received a lot of praise for his harp playing and raspier vocals. The other guys were lauded as well of course. I think that Charlie Watts is seventy-five though. He was born in 1941. Doesn't really matter though. If I live to be one-hundred, seventy-five, I'd still never be able to play as well!

No sweat Creighton. I'm inside the 20 year envelope and I can still pick up brushes. As to using them, well, it is a bit different of late.

I just did a 4 hour gig last night. Brushes all night long. I'm 67 and I plan to still be doing it when I'm 80. My son sent me the video yesterday. Its great.

My neighbor, who will be 95 in two months, still plays a bit every day. Enjoy listening to his delicate brush work.

This album is great! The more I listen to the songs, the more impressed I am. I've dropped enough hints that if my wife doesn't get me this album for Christmas, she really does tune me out! I suspect that she does. LOL!

I picked it up yesterday..It's pretty raw and very refreshing. They probably blasted through the songs very much like they used to do back in the day. I like the sound. It doesn't have too much polishing. That Gretsch sounds good..

Keep fixing them up...
