Just wanted to say hello to the gang...I have a 1973 set of Slingerlands chrome over 5 ply maple- poplar- maple I can't remember the MFGs name for the set but I purchased it as a rock set with double bass 4 toms 10-14 with a 18X20 floor tom. I still enjoy them, they still sound amazing and have kept them in cherry condition. I also purchased a Fibes snare, chrome over fiberglass in 75 which to this day still cuts through any horn band I've played with...Just wondering if anybody knows what Slingerland called this kit...??
