thanks for this. ya 700 is almost right. maybe just a bit high market wise. although the market on these, as you imply, is very strangely, sadly, low. but that's good for us buyers. after playing teardrops, it's very hard to understand why anyone would pay another 1500-2000 for a Gretsch RB. i have a set of new broadkasters and they are phenomenal drums. but they are not BETTER than the teardrops.
