Sticky glue removal suggestions

Loading...

I am trying to remove a layer of sticky glue from a pair of 70's Yamaha concert toms. The wrap was split all over and peeled off fairly easily. Some areas have more, thicker glue than others. Any suggestions?

If you are still having trouble see if you can find De-Sov-it made by Citrus Technologies International.... don't know where to find as my wife brought it home from a plastics place she worked at.... but that bottle has lasted me a while and has worked wonders....

The local hardware store has an equivalent that I use to remove duct tape residue. Good idea...
