all rounded and drilled, and ready to go.
Any suggestions for heads?It's 14"x8",and is 18mm
thick.its oak, if these details are of any
signifigance. I'll get pics up

What do you want it to sound like? What styles of music and how hard do you plan on hitting it? Any brand affiliation?
I've never gone wrong with a medium coated singleply top and thin clear single ply snare side. Your brand may vary.

Well,im not the lightest hitters. But I don't
smack the crap out of them either. I have
no preference to make, I was just asking if
anyone had an opinion coming from personal
use. I'd like it to sound warm yet poweful
