Star / Tama Kingbeat snare mechanism lever

I am about to take delivery of a vintage Star / Tama Kingbeat snare - one of the early ones with "Star" still on the strainer mechanism. (I've bought it to go with a similar era Star kit that I've nearly finished restoring).

Only problem is that the snare strainer mechanism lever has snapped off. Does anyone know of anywhere I might be lucky enough to source a replacement lever?

Or, if not, is there anyone else who may be worth contacting, please?

PS I'm in Wales, UK - I will be trying the few UK vintage spare-parts stockists (Nick Hopkin and Drumattic), but I'm not hopeful.
