Hi there - I have a problem with my Star snare drum where the throw off keeps detaching. I took a video showing the problem. How do I fix this? Thanks guys.

Hello Erik,

Is there a spring on the center of the adjustment knob in place?

Should be there within the casing. If not, it's missing.

Please note my attachment (but my pic shows a replacement lever,

not the original one, which has a the handy fluting, like your's).

Can you please make a photo from above? Maybe that also the slot is

too much broadened of the years.

Cheers, Ralf

NB: I had a similar problem with another snare throw version of Star some time ago,

which I finally only could solve by a replacement:

Imagine what you`ll be able to do with that free hand when you get it fixed.

I use a rubber band. wrap it around a tension rod to the lever.
