A great sounding snare drum from Star (pre Tama). The quality of build is top notch. Eight lugs, triple flanged hoops, touch tone damper, COS, original lugs, tension rods & Original strainer and butt. The year was about 1974 before changing to Tama. Shell size 14x5......sean
Star snare drum early 70's
Wow. Amazing condition.
That's the snare I call "The Krupalike" because it resembles my Slingerland Super Krupa.

Hi Erik..... When you consider how many years this drum has been around and still being used the condition i must admit is as good as a new one. I like the fact of it looking like a "Krupa". I think the styling is fabulous even if they did copy a couple of other drum companies. Todays drums no disrespect are basically garbage. All looking similar with same old fitments.......Thanks....sean
