Star Snare 10T

Loading...

Hi,

another Star...

I found it from a seller in France, under many orphan shells, with an Asba kit.

It's a classic COS Snare BUT it's quite unusual: 10tensions with basic lugs (not 924 king beat type).

I didn't found this type on the Ralf Timeline on Star-drum.de (only 6 or 8 tensions there)

so i posted here! Walking

That's awesome!

CLEAN, and you gotta love the 10 lugs!

I had a great day! Instead of sleeping in and wasting the day, I got up at 8 and I had all my slacking done by noon!

Thanks Drummerjohn!

something very strange: tension rods are not parallele to the snare shells... like the rings are not good fitting... very strange i will put a picture as soon as possible!

I posted a few days ago regarding rims that were too big-fell off the edge of the head hoop. I'm sure they are factory, just poorly stamped. As the die wears out, which is expensive, it must either be repaired or the bad part "lived with".

Sweet pepers! The finished product is stunning. I saw it on my f/b...Try a Fibre-skin to dry out the ringiness. Or perhaps a single ply Aquarian.

I'd say let that sucker RING! I always like to have them on my drums (complete the poor thing!) but I VERY RARELY ever use mufflers/tone controls.
