A strange way of idea of beauty.
This kit was painted in "trompe-l'oeil" outsi and the insi was painted in yellow.
I find the original inley wrap under the painted black hoop...It was a kind of beautiful green/black oyster. I dream of this original wrap on this kit...
This wood laquered work looks nice, but seems to be made in a hurried manner. Could do much better with some additional lacquer layers and deburring in between.
If you are interested in a STAR-made drumset with exactly the finish of the hoop inlay, let me know ...
