Well Yes and No Jay

as I wrote at the top of the thread

I was already aware of the snare outfit pictured in the catalog you found

If you look close you can see that the cymbal arm

is attached by way of the snare stand not from a bracket actually mounted to the drum shell as it is in my case

The more I look at it, the more I am thinking that it must be a modification made by a previous owner

Ok, this one def has the mount on the shell,lol. Maybe it was one of these? Could have very well have been added later though.
