It didn't leave me alone, so here the pic comes (from that rare cymbal mount):

On page 2 it can be seen.

Thanks again Ralf! This part has proven to be quite the little bugger.

Hi all - I wanted to update this thread with great thanks to two fine gentleman and forum members here. They both sent me lugs to help complete my project *at no charge*. Very kind and also a very fine welcome to this forum.

Many thanks to JohnL!

Many thanks to Jon Petersen!

You guys are the best. So, step one of my project has been completed - the gathering of the lugs. Awesome!

Another small update. I have scored the BD rod and claw that was necessary to complete that drum. Many thanks to Gerald Sterken who sent it along.

The friendship around this place is wonderful!

Hello. First post here.

I also have a vintage Star kit (circa early 70s I think) Clear acrylic "Crystar" kit. I'm doing a little restore on it and giving it some TLC. I was wondering if anyone had any spare type 924 tom lugs in their possession that they would be looking to sell?

I only require 2 for the rack tom as when I bought the kit 2nd hand off ebay one of the original lugs had been replaced and one has a damaged thread.

If any one has any going or knows of somewhere where I can get my hands on a pair I'd be extremely grateful.

Thanks,

Bonzo

G'day Shorty! Only just saw this thread this morning, what a great project! How did it turn out? Love to see some pics of the final result.

And yeah, some seriously top people here!

Yeah, I saw it was a couple of years old. Just hopin'... Since I've been buggerising around with this MIJ of mine I was excited to see Shorty's kit. But probably not to be!

Thanks mate,

Trev
