Short time ago, i changed the Resohead on my 72 Starkit because it was the Original one from the 70s and it started to become numb. I was thinking by myself how would i get that Logo on a Remofibreksyn head or some other head? I also knew from our forum that some people sometimes search for it as a Sticker. I know there are some makers in the US but in the European area i didn`t know anyone who makes it. Even Ralf could not help me!

So i made a picture of my original Logo and asked STDRUMS.de , if the would be able to make me one, by the way i told them that STAR is still very popular in Vintage circles:-)

They were very friendly and said - yes we can do it, and the idea to resell it again the found great. So now you can by Logos from STAR here:-)

I love it;-)

I believe that forum member Daddynowhere (not sure if spelled right) sells these. He has done VERY good work and many of us here buy from him. He has had to front considerable cost and I don't even think he makes a profit. It might be worth your while to trade some PMs with him.

I had a great day! Instead of sleeping in and wasting the day, I got up at 8 and I had all my slacking done by noon!

Definitely DaddyNowhere, awesome guy, quick and professional at a great price. He has a couple different "Star" logos worth 3 times what he charges. A++++++

Hello,

Christian: I could help you - but apparently you were not able to make it by yourself ...!

On my website are bass drum decals for do-it-yourself - I don't sell them.

Generally:

I think we have to differ here: DaddyNowhere for members in USA and ST-Drums for Germany/ Europe, as the shipment costs may limit the prefered source.

Well, and if someone is skilled with thin felt pens: the ones on my website (they are for free).

Cheers, Ralf

My fingers were burning. Thanks for the glowing endorsements fellas, I appreciate it. Just preparing to start listing on... that site that everyone seems to have some alternate name for - rhymes with fleabay. Got a few new additions as well.

I bet shipping the equivalent of an envelope from the US to Europe would not be that prohibitive. Everyone seems to be singing his praises so he must be doing something right in the world of die cut logos. If I had an MIJ kit I sure would contact him immediately.

ok, i am sure he is doing a great job, but like Ralf said, the costs(even from an envelope) from the US to Europe is far to high for one Logo.

@Ralf

yes i could not make it myself:-) thats true;-)

By the way, this is just an info i thought that some folks from europe probably will need some of that help.

The better reason is, that the STAR Logo is back again in Europe:-)

Hey all! First time member here. Picked up a late 90's Pearl Export kit after a 2007 MVA kept me out off the stool for a spell. Ha, took a sick day to bang on de drum all day. I have the Alpine Green and although the set is mostly in fair condition, there are some issues, including tape residue on resonant tom heads. Also, the Pearl logo has some scratching through it. Any ideas how to restore either safely? Also curious where besides CL or Ebay might I find some of the Alpine Green add on kits. Thanks!!

D' Drummer.
