Star and Tama King Beat snares

Loading...

After collecting these for a while I decided to sell some of them to help finance my school tuition next year. I'm asking $300 (€250) for each snare, o.b.o. All five snares are for sale.

1. Tama KB 6,5x14 (83-xxxxx) Pitting on the shell. New Evans heads top and bottom.

2. Tama KB 5x14 (82xxx) New Evans batter head. In really good condition.

3. Tama KB 5x14 (86xxx) Originele Tama heads top and bottom. In good condition. (an earlier snare than #2 snare even though the badge has a higher number)

4. Tama KB 5x14 (53xxx) transition era. Star shell and mechanism with triple flange hoops, all original. New Evans heads top and bottom. In really good condition.

5. Star Royal KB 5x14 with round silver badge and coffin lugs. New Evans heads top and bottom. In good condition, some pitting. (Reserved)

They are ready to ship, I ship worldwide. Buyer pays for shipping and/or international import taxes.

If you want I can make and send extra pictures.

Looking great!

I'm about to take delivery of a vintage Star / Tama Kingbeat snare - one of the early ones with "Star" still on the strainer mechanism. (Bought it to go with a similar era Star kit that I've nearly finished restoring).

Only problem is that the snare strainer mechanism lever has snapped off - do you know of anywhere that I might be lucky enough to source a replacement lever? Or, if not, anyone else who may be worth contacting, please?

Thanks

Del
