What should I use to prepare the bearing edge of a drum shell to be stained? I am staining a vintage Tama Superstar bearing edge that is a 6 ply Japanese Birch shell. It had been cut down from a deeper size. The inside of the shell is stained. Any advice would help. Thanks! Phil Cormier Leominster, Ma 01453
