Spray wraps??

Hi I have an old Beverley(see attached pic). The wraps have pink splodges all over them.At first it looked like paint splashed on them but it seems to have been caused from inside,damp maybe through the shells then under the wraps.I would like to keep them as original as possible. Question is,is it possible to spray the wraps?Im removing all the heads and lugs anyway for cleaning so will just have to mask and cover the inside and badges. And secondly I want to paint the insides white..any paint recommended??

Man, PLEASE keep them original. Those are good looking drums, and there has to be a way for you to strip off the offending paint/stain. That is one of the coolest 70s wraps and it looks to be original. You know how we are about keeping them all factory, whenever possible. Do some research about stripping if you can find any, and they will reward you for years to come! Beverly drums are hard enough to come by, and in original condition, man...please try...

WHHHHOOO!! Ha ha! Believe me I totaly agree folks!! But...Ive tried (on a not obvious spot) to gently scrape it,,wouldnt budge. Paint remover on a cotton bud...wouldnt budge. When I asked about spraying I wasnt going to do them blue or red whatever. Theres no way I can replace the wrap so I thought if I could get a good match on the gold at a body shop and then laquered! Its a last resort but the only thing I can think of. Cheers for your comments,If youve any other ideas...Please!!

I see a few pink dots here and there. You can do a light touch up with Nail Polish or Auto Touch Up paint.

JR. I Gave it another good look at tonight..get this..where Ive taken a lug off there is a circle of the pink around the screw hole which was UNDER the lug..so..it is not surface paint. On same hole I gave a light scrape and the clear top coat of the wrap is still there...the pink blotches have a clear top coat!!! It has deffo happened from within!! IM AT A LOSS WHAT TO DO!! But I was thinking the same as you,try to get a craft enamel paint or something and touch up.The toms are not too bad but the bass is covered in it. Such a rare finish its like gold mirror chrome with a rippled foil effect! Lovely but a pain in the ass to keep original!! Keep the suggestions coming peeps and thank you very much for the imput!!!APPRECIATED
