Speed King Pedal Lubrication help

Loading...

Early 1970's-era Speed King

Have totally cleaned all inside parts (posts, springs, bearings) to remove all factory lubrication. Can't locate a good web post yet to explain how much lubricant to use upon reassembly.

Some advise either TriFlow or Super Lube, which I have yet to purchase, but when I do, I don't know how much to apply to the bearings, and then how much goes into the posts to lubricate the springs/cams.

Any assistance would be very much appreciated.

I have used Super-lube on a couple of Speedkings. I covered the springs in Super-lube grease (not excessively, but still) and applied a sensible amount of Super-lube oil to the ball bearings.
