Apologize,but I must ask.When I read here on the forum discussions about 1920's Ludwig and other manufactures snares made of brass,comes a term two piece shell.Can you ex plane me,what are those two pieces,and put some photo?

here it is.Upper and lower half of the snare are soldered on snare bead and it is double thickness bead
