Sonor Teardrop question

From amosguy

I needed to find some mufflers for a set I bought recently. The round mufflers seems set for the toms. The dual pad seemed for the snare. Not absolute, but based on info I did come across.FYI - If you do not find a chrome rod (I have not) for the bass drum cymbal rod, I will be using a 5/16" stainless rod from hardware store. Local store had one when Home Depot did not. Also on Amazon if desperate. Found 3' rod and cut to length, though might find a 2' in some places.

I checked my mufflers amd my toms have round mufflers, and the snare has the dual pad. That is consistent with what you were seeing elsewhere.

Just asked that question myself elsewhere. 8mm rod with 6mm threaded end, 60cm length. Basically 5/16" x 24"

UPDATE: I finally got a rubber cymbal mount from overseas. In the meantime, I had ordered a Stagg Cymbal Wall Mount from Amazon.

The Stagg unit arrived today. It is probably fine for what it was designed for which is to hang a cymbal on the wall. However, for what I wanted it for I don't think it would be ideal. The profile is fatter and the "******" that the cymbal would slip over are both too large (IMO) for playing and would likely mute the cymbal a bit, I suspect.

Here are pictures from the seller. I have not taken any yet myself. I've only given them a cursory Windex cleaning and put on some used heads I had laying around.I plan to polish up the chrome once I get a chance. The tom mount is not original. I have been looking for a reasonably priced one, but need to see if the current one has left a mark / indention in the wrap, before I spend money replacing it. I assume it will probably look better to leave the current one. Has anyone had luck fixing bubbled wrap? I have read where some people have heated the area with a hair dryer to try and soften the glue underneath to get it to re-stick. I assume I would need to leave it clamped for a while, but am not too hopeful that is really a viable long term solution.

So you know, The BD mount is from a Phonic BD. It will leave extra screw holes if you return to the boat mount that should be there. That mount is far better than the original boat mount. It don't shake.

It`s a drum,.....Hit It !!
