I`m not very familiar with the 90`s kits but I know that BD spur is not Sonor.

Just a heads up: when you search for info on this kit, make sure you look at info regarding the Sonic Plus, not the Phonic Plus. They're different.

High in my neighborhood, I'd say. I sold a Sonic Plus kit in black (pictured below) with an additional 13" rack tom plus original snare stand, hi-hat stand, and janky Pearl kick pedal for $400 last year. The kit is well-made, sounds good, and has some neat hardware. For instance, the floor tom and kick drum legs don't penetrate the shell but rather mount to the lugs. Ditto the mounting system for the rack toms. Hoops are a synthetic material that tuned a little different from the metal and wood I'm used to. Snare was really nice. Overall it's a quality kit, but I wasn't crazy about the aesthetics of it or the stands with their big black rubber pieces (although I wound up keeping the kick pedal because it was easy to use and very smooth).

The BD spur in the photo is a Sonor Sonic spur. The hardware was unique to that line.

The bass drum spur does not look right. It should look like that of the doublestroke kid's. The floor tom leg doesn't look right either; as stated, no holes are used to mount either hardware; they mount on brackets which mount on the lugs. The only mount, which I never understood, is for the tom mount on the bass.

Anyway, I love these drums. They were my first decent set and I use them all the time. I used them on a handful of tours and they held up great. The price may be slightly high in the ball park, but they are good drums (I would look about those mounts though, the main benefit is the isolated mounting of the legs/spurs).

I disagree only because it is straight as an arrow and appears to have a mounting bracket, ( like a designer) the floor tom legs look Phonic because of the size of the black foot !!

Looking at the FT again, the one leg in the back has the pull of foot, I think !! The one in the front is missing the foot and looks phonic !!

Bottom line on that listing--don't do anything without seeing much better and bigger pix first.

Those legs and bass drum spur are absolutely correct to the Sonic Plus series. I have a 5 piece Sonor Sonic Plus set that I bought in 1997. I'm currently trying to locate a replacement bass drum spur for my kit. So far there just aren't any.

I get home Wednesday and would be happy to post pictures.
