Sonor Sonic Plus Made in Germany...wich wood?

would anybody know wich wood are the Sonor Sonic Plus Sets made from?

Any help would be cool.-)Cool1

I think some kind of birch, but they don't have a high quality sound as Lites to my ear, maybe lower grade, softer wood?
